Responding to a written ministerial statement on Brexit funding for local government, which confirms that district councils will receive £35,000 each over two years, Cllr John Fuller, Chairman of the District Councils’ Network, said:

“Deal or no deal, councils of all sizes must prepare for life after Brexit. District councils welcome this additional funding, whether this is planning for data security, preparing ports and airports, food hygiene or supporting our communities through changes.”
