DCN and Penna announce partnership
Penna, the leading local government recruiter, has entered into a partnership with the District Councils’ Network which will see it support the DCN’s flagship Staff Development Programme.
The Staff Development Programme looks to nurture rising star officers within DCN’s national network of councils and provide them with the knowledge and skills required to develop as senior managers.
DCN chairman Cllr Sam Chapman-Allen said: “The DCN Staff Development Programme is hugely valued by our members, and we couldn’t ask for a better sponsor for it than Penna, given their huge expertise in identifying talent and developing careers across local government.
“The DCN and Penna are both committed to helping councils find the next generation of leading local government officers, and to support them grow their careers within the sector. We can’t wait to work together on ensuring the Staff Development Programme continues to nurture and enhance the careers of the stars of the district council sector.”
Penna managing director Julie Towers said: “Our partnership with DCN supports our mission to find, excite and secure talent for our clients; we look forward to further supporting local government talent development through the DCN Staff Development Programme, and to accessing the excellent networks and events offered to District Councils by the DCN.”
